INESC TEC INAUGURATES THE MOST ADVANCED VIRTUAL REALITY LABORATORY OF THE IBERIAN PENINSULA
On the 18th of September, INESC TEC inaugurated the MASSIVE Virtual Reality Laboratory, the most advanced of the Iberian Peninsula in this field. Located on the centre of INESC TEC at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, in Vila Real, the inauguration was attended by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, among other public figures.

WHO SAID ROBOTICS AND AGRICULTURE/FORESTRY DO NOT MATCH?
INESC TEC has had, through its Centre for Robotics in Industry and Intelligent Systems, since 2014, a strategy and a plan to tackle this challenge. It has been strongly investing in technological development and research in the agriculture, agro-food and forestry sectors.
