Member of the Board of INESC TEC appointed IEEE Distinguished Lecturer

Vladimiro Miranda, Member of the Board of INESC TEC and Full Professor at FEUP, has been nominated by the IEEE as a Distinguished Lecturer of  Power Engineering Society.

The Distinguished Lecturer Program allows IEEE Chapters all over the world to contact with scientists and engineers with an exceptional background, acknowledged by the IEEE, and to participate in specialised lectures. The Distinguished Lecturer Program also provides the organising institution the financial support to invite the scientist.

IEEE selects a set of Distinguished Lecturers annually in order to highlight the most relevant curricula in the power systems area. Located in the United States, the IEEE is the most important professional and scientific organisation in the world dedicated to electrical and computer engineering.
