INESC P&D Brasil in event related to energy production in Brazil

Vladimiro Miranda, as Director-President of INESC P&D Brasil, was at the VI Oil and Gas Production Optimization Workshop, an initiative that took place at CENPES Petrobras, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the 26th and 27th of April.

This workshop aimed to present ongoing research activities concerning methods of production optimization. The event includes presentations from universities and companies from the oil sector, debates about the challenges of the future and cooperation possibilities between the different organisations present.

INESC P&D Brasil is a non-governmental scientific and technological institution, created as a private non-profit association, with the purpose of coordinating a cooperation network in research, development and technology transfer in Brazil, together with Brazilian public universities and INESC TEC.

INESC P&D Brasil has an innovation model similar to the one used in Europe, especially by INESC TEC, but suited to the Brazilian reality. A model based on science, including different conceptual levels, from the generation of knowledge to its valorisation, providing the integration of Brazilian universities in multidisciplinary projects.
