Researchers from INESC TEC awarded with the Excellence Grant of UMinho

Francisco Ribeiro and Michael Oliveira, researchers from the High-Assurance Software Laboratory (HASLab) of INESC TEC, received the Excellence Grant of UMinho from last academic year. The ceremony took place on the 22nd May, in the Medieval Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Minho. 

This distinction, of pecuniary annual value equal to the monthly tuition fee, is granted to all undergraduate and integrated master students with the highest application grade of each year, provided the classification is equal to or higher than 16.

Francisco Ribeiro, during the last academic year, was student from the Integrated Master in Computer Engineering and he obtained a final grade of 18,75. Michael Oliveira was student from Integrated Master in Phisics Engineering and he obtained a final grade of 17,25.

In order to attract students of excellence and promote their academic performance, the Programme of Promotion of Academic Excellence of the University of Minho establishes the allocation of grants to the best students of each degree course and integrated master's degree.
