Decisions of INESC TEC’s General Council

On 15 May, another Ordinary Meeting of INESC TEC’s General Council was held, which was attended by all INESC TEC's Associates and by the Board.

The meeting started with a welcoming session to the new Members of the General Council, especially to the representatives of the new Associates, the University of Minho and the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, which became part of INESC TEC in February 2019.

The agenda started with the presentation and the unanimous approval of the Annual Report and the Activity Report of 2018.

Another moment in the agenda concerned the election of the Scientific Advisory Board and the Scientific Council for the five-year period of 2019 to 2023.

On the last item of the agenda, INESC TEC's participation in associations and companies was addressed, namely in the spinoff Keyruptive and in the associations EIT Digital, APGEI (Portuguese Association of Management and Industrial Engineering) and EPIC (European Photonics Industry Consortium).
