Carlos Baquero, senior researcher of the High-Assurance Software Laboratory (HASLab) of INESC TEC and lecturer at the University of Minho, joins the Redis Labs’s Technical Advisory Board.

According to Redis Labs, Carlos Baquero, known for being one of the creators of Conflict-Free Replicated Data Types (CRDTs), brings a portfolio of distributed computing research expertise, and will contribute to Redis Labs’ strategy in accelerating database innovation to serve its customers better.

“With my focus on CRDTs, and a goal to improve the design of efficient CRDTs implementations, I’m excited to join the Redis Labs’ technical advisory board to bridge the gap between state of the art research and industrial strength products that are already in use at large scale”, said Carlos Baquero to Redis Labs.
