INESC Porto selected by UPORTO to welcome the European Universities Association

INESC Porto welcomed, on 23 March, an evaluation panel of the European Universities Association (EUA), in the context of the evaluation of the University of Porto.

EUA accepted the proposal of the University of Porto, which chose INESC Porto LA as sole R&D institute within the University to be visited. The European Universities Association started by gathering with INESC Porto’s Board of Directors for a meeting, and afterwards the panel had the opportunity to talk with some of the institution’s collaborators. Finally, they learned more about the experience of the spin-off companies established at INESC Porto. The purpose of this visit was to let this evaluation panel know more about INESC Porto’s activity in its different components.

On 31 March, INESC Porto was visited again, this time by Vladimiro Feliz, Municipal Councilor for Tourism, Innovation and Leisure, and by Gonçalo Gonçalves, Municipal Councilor for Country Planning and Mobility, both from the Municipal Council of Porto. During this visit, the Councilors had the opportunity to learn more about the project REIVE "Intelligent electric grids with plugged in electric vehicles" of the Power Systems Unit (USE), within the theme of Electrical Mobility.
