Researcher at INESC TEC edits book on electric vehicles

João Peças Lopes, senior scientist in the Power and Energy Unit and director of INESC Porto, edited the book Electric Vehicle Integration into Modern Power Networks, together with Rodrigo Garcia Valle of the Technical University of Denmark.

Published by Springer, the book provides a vision on the challenges and opportunities brought about by the progressive integration of electric vehicles in the power grids.

Electric Vehicle Integration into Modern Power Networks is divided into nine chapters, written by researchers and industry and academy professionals, among which are the following INESC TEC collaborators: José Ruela (former manager of the Telecommunications and Multimedia Unit – UTM), David Rua, Joel Soares (both from the Power Systems Unit – USE) and Pedro Almeida (former researcher at USE).
