INESC TEC on the brink… of extinction!

It’s hard to believe! This photo was taken inside our building, on the 2nd floor, so you can go check, if you may. The door with the surreal sign that states “Extinção em Curso”, which basically means that there is an extinction going on, may be the atrocious responsible for some of the most significant events in our History – the disappearance of the dinosaurs is perhaps the most memorable of all. We guess that the one in charge of the extinction room has been leaving a fossil print in the history of Mankind since the Jurassic period.

More recent is the salary cut, for which the “Ongoing Extinction” may be to blame. The same can be said of all the flunks in the electrical engineering course. These are some of the examples of the overwhelming bestiality of the room. Therefore, all employees are advised to stay out of the area. Be swift whenever you go by that door and do not attempt to open it – or you will be sucked in. Rumour has it that the Portuguese Minister of Finance requested a similar sign for his toilet in honour of what he is doing to the country. And who are we to say otherwise?
