INESC Porto takes part in meeting for Living Usability Lab – LUL project

In November INESC Porto took part in the project meeting for NSRF (The National Strategic Reference Framework) Living Usability Lab – LUL (Living Usability Lab for Next Generation Networks). Other project partners include Microsoft, and the University of Aveiro in Portugal. The project, which is active in the field of live usability testing, focuses on the development of technologies and services to support healthy, productive and active senior citizens.

The campaign “Donate your Voice” is part of the LUL project and aims to create a database with samples of the voices of senior citizens in order to develop a voice recognition system.

The Living Usability Lab is a collaborative R&D Project joining industry and universities and plays an active role in the use of innovative technology.
