INESC Porto will be organising the next edition of the prestigious conference Intelligent System Applications to Power System (ISAP), which will take place between 20 and 23 September 2015. The ISAP is an international conference on the use of intelligent systems in electric power systems.

The last edition took place between 1 and 4 July in Tokyo, Japan, and was dedicated to the areas of intelligent systems, power systems analysis, uncertainty and risk assessment, as well as network control and operation.
In this edition Portugal was the country with the highest rate of papers accepted and the second with more papers presented, immediately after the hosting country, Japan. INESC TEC was represented, among others, by Vladimiro Miranda (director of INESC Porto), who was chosen to be the director of the ISAP Council.

The 2015 edition of ISAP will be supported by INESC Porto’s associates FEUP and ISEP.

The INESC TEC researchers mentioned in this article are associated with the following partner institutions: FEUP and INESC Porto.
