INESC TEC develops tools to improve urban public transports
INESC TEC is leading the project opti-MOVES (Quality management of intermodal public transport services: diagnostic and optimisation), which proposes to develop, by 2020, a set of diagnostic and optimisation tools that will help the network operators and the local authorities in planning, monitoring and optimising intermodal operations of urban public transports.
The project team is composed of researchers Tânia Fontes (PI), Carlos Soares, Jorge Pinho de Sousa, Joel Ribeiro, José Luís Borges, Vítor Santos and Marta Torgal from the Centre for Enterprise Systems Engineering (CESE); and Teresa Galvão Dias (Co-PI), Ana Camanho, Jorge Freire de Sousa, Joana Hora and Thiago Sobral from the Centre for Industrial Engineering and Management (CEGI).
