Decisions of INESC TEC’s General Council

On 7 February, another ordinary meeting of INESC TEC’s General Council was held, which was attended by all INESC TEC's Associates and by the Board (CA).

The Activity Plan and the Budget for 2019 were unanimously approved as a result of the presentation made by the Chairman of the Board.

Another item on the agenda was in response to the preliminary proposal of the Intellectual Property Regulation for INESC TEC, which was presented at the last meeting of the Council, and has now been approved.

At this meeting, there was also an opportunity to present a proposal for the reconstitution of the Business Advisory Board (BAB), which is currently responsible for the monitoring, guidance and evaluation of INESC TEC's external innovation and technology transfer activities.

On the last item of the agenda, INESC TEC's participation in several institutions was assessed, with the participation in the companies NeuroQ, Safecloud, CERVIM, WeSENSS and KIC EIT Manufacturing ended up being approved, as well as in the Aquavalor associations for CoLAB B2E (Association for the Blue Economy) and for the CoLAB VORTEX.
