In times of crisis… even BIP becomes versatile!
It’s true! These days, versatility and flexibility are keywords for success. and our young BIP is proof: 9 years ago, it started as an internal information vehicle and, not long after that, it became available at INESC Porto’s website, to be read by our clients and partners. In 2006, BIP became international with an English version being sent to Faculties and Universities of over 25 different countries.
And now we have discovered something amazing: the famous University of Aveiro used a text included in a 2004 edition of BIP on the project Pêndulo, developed by USIC, as model text in Portuguese language test for University applicants over 23 years of age!
You don’t believe it? Well, check it out…
Here is the PDF document that works as proof. And don’t you think that this text was easy! No way, because, in that same test, we are next to one of the most important representatives of Portuguese literature: the one and only José Saramago!
If you still can’t believe it, take a look at the famous article in issue number issue number 46 of BIP, where our colleague Paulo Monteiro works with his slippers on, dressed as Santa Claus!
