Much more than a wind turbine
“Its it a bird? Is it a plane?” No. It’s INESC TEC’s new wind turbine!
Installed at the top of INESC TEC’s building, this turbine uses hybrid technology, as it produces wind and solar power. But that’s not just it. Judging by its lampshade shape (as depicted in the photo), this equipment is hybrid because it can compete both in the renewable energy market and in the decoration business. After all, who wouldn’t like having one of these turbines lighting their room instead of the usual standing lamp?
So don’t be admired if the neighbours start using the roof of INESC TEC’s building to read or to do some knitting.
