Recruitment of 1 PhD holder in the field of Applied Robotics

  • NESC TEC, a private research institution, is hiring a researcher with a PhD to work at INESC TEC’s Centre for Robotics and Autonomous Systems on a contract with an indefinite duration. The hiring process will follow what is provided in Decree-Law No. 57/2016, 29 August, of the Labour Code, and other legislation on individual work contracts. Moreover, the process will take into consideration INESC TEC’s internal rules, as well as the specific conditions set out in the aforementioned Decree-Law regarding the hiring of PhD holders as part of contracts financed by public funds. The contract will have a maximum duration of 3 years. However, INESC TEC can, at any moment, hire the researcher on a permanent basis. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, execute and coordinate R&D projects in the field of applied robotics; supervise and train postgraduate human resources; manage science and technology, including proposing and negotiating contracts, particularly in the field of robotics and similar areas.
