Paper on Underwater Wireless Power Transfer receives is Best Paper

Researchers at INESC TEC's Centre for Telecommunications and Multimedia (CTM) participated in ICUMT - 8th International Congress on Ultra Modern Telecommunications and Control Systems, an international event that brings together researchers, engineers, service providers and other professionals in the fields of telecommunications, control systems, automation and robotics.

During the event, which was held on October 18, 19 and 20, the paper "An Adaptive System for Underwater Wireless Power Transfer" was presented by Francisco Gonçalves (INESC TEC). The work is co-authored by Adriano Pereira, André Morais, Rui Gomes, Cândido Duarte (INESC TEC and FEUP) and Luís Pessoa (INESC TEC).

The paper was selected as the "Best Paper in the Internet of Things Session". Coordinated by Cândido Duarte, this work was developed as part of project CORAL, having also contributed to the ENDURE project, where CTM is in charge of developing the wireless system to transfer power underwater.

The researchers mentioned in this news piece are associated with INESC TEC and UP-FEUP.
