CEO of Microsoft Portugal visited INESC TEC
Paula Panarra, CEO of Microsoft Portugal, visited INESC TEC on 5 February under the initiative of reinforcing the link between these two organisations. In particular in the strategy framework of the digital transformation at the head of the companie’s innovation philosophy.
João Claro, member of Board of Directors of INESC TEC, made a general presentation of INESC TEC with the aim of enhancing global knowledge about the institution, its innovation model with scientific backgrounds and its activity in the various fields of science and technology and its application areas.
António Gaspar made a presentation about the skills and activities of the Computer Science Cluster regarding Microsoft policy area.
From another point of view, Cristina Guimarães, Business Development Manager from INESC TEC’s Industry Partnership Service (SAPE) presented other projects in the field of health and media, both fields have a history of collaborating between the two organisations.
At the end of the meeting, solid guidelines of a possible partnership between these two organisations were identified and subsequent steps for its developments were agreed.
The meeting was attended by José Manuel Mendonça, Gabriel David and Rui Oliveira, President and members of Board of Directors of INESC TEC, and by Augustin Olivier, responsible for SAPE.
