INESC TEC promotes its first workshop on Social Media
INESC TEC’s Communication Service organised its first workshop on communicating science through social media. The event was for all collaborators of INESC TEC.
On 22 February, Eunice Oliveira, responsible for managing INESC TEC’s social media (among other things) provided some tips to researchers who wish to manage better their social media.
The training session entitled “Does Facebook has science?” answered some questions like “Do you want to know how to influence your career on social media?”, “Do you want to learn how to communicate better in these media within your working environment?” and “Are you currently managing social media of a specific project?”.
Various topics were covered, including the reason to communicate Science on social media, and what strategies and tools should be used, and professional networks.
