INESC Porto participates in VISNET Network of Excellence

The Telecommunications and Multimedia (UTM) has participated in the VISNET Network of Excellence (Networked audiovisual media technologies), whose activities took place in two phases, with a total duration of five years. The activities were concluded in June 2009.

Aiming to disseminate scientific and technological results, the project VISNET II organised a “Summer School”, which took place at the KOC University, in Istambul, between 15 and 19 June 2009.

At this “Summer School”, INESC Porto was represented by Vítor Barbosa and José Ruela, who carried out presentations on the activities of “Context-based adaptation” and “Media quality optimisation over networks”, developed in collaboration with several partners, which were integrated in the work package dedicated to Content Adaptation.
