The decisions of INESC TEC’s General Board

The decisions of INESC TEC’s General Board

A new ordinary meeting of INESC TEC General Board took place on 1 March and it was attended by all INESC TEC members and the Board.

The business and budget plan for 2018 were approved by unanimity following its presentation by the Chairman of the Board.

The next topic of discussion was the entrance of University of Minho and University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro as INESC TEC’s members in which the Board was authorized to study the matter with the current members in order to submit a proposal for consideration in next Board meeting.

A preliminary proposal for the INESC TEC's intellectual property regulation was also distributed and presented. This proposal will be presented in more detail to the members and discussed at the next Board meeting.

The participation of INESC TEC in several institutions was considered as the last topic of the agenda. It was approved that INESC TEC is no longer a member of the ADDICT (Agency for the Development of Creative Industries), while being accepted as a member of other entities such as Smart Waste Portugal, World Alliance for Efficient Solutions and Cluster Mineral Resources Portugal.
