CISTER/INESC TEC organises European conference on wireless sensor networks

INESC TEC’s Research Centre in Real-Time and Embedded Computing Systems (CISTER) is organising the 12th edition of the European Conference on Wireless Sensor Networks (EWSN 2015), one of the main international conferences in the area. The event will take place in February 2015 at the School of Engineering (ISEP) of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (IPP).

The EWSN has been playing a key role in the dissemination of innovative work, providing a discussion forum for researchers, and the choice of CISTER/INESC TEC to organise the event may be seen as recognition of the Centre’s work in this area.

Next year’s edition will focus on the diversity of domains that are associated today with wireless sensor networks. Other than lectures, the event will include demonstrations and poster sessions.

Scientific papers can be submitted until 15 September. Eligible papers should contain original work describing new concepts and practical experiments on the following themes: Wireless sensor networks and protocols, Sensor network applications and services, Human-centric sensing and Big (sensor) data challenges.
