INESC TEC welcomes delegation from Bosch Termotecnologia SA
On 4 July, INESC TEC welcomed a visit from two members of Bosch Termotecnologia SA, a manufacturer of heating and hot water systems. The goal with this visit was to “identify technical collaboration opportunities to develop domestic electric storage water heaters, involving an active management of domestic electricity consumption. The ultimate goal of reducing electricity bills,” explains João Peças Lopes, director of INESC TEC.
The delegation of Bosch Termotecnologia got to know INESC TEC, its organisational model and expertise, particularly the skills of the Centre for Power and Energy Systems (CPES)*. While at INESC TEC, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the Laboratory of Smart Grids and Electric Vehicles.
The vice-president of the company, Sérgio Salustino, and Nuno André Silva, were welcomed by João Peças Lopes, David Rua, Filipe Joel Soares and Miguel Heleno.
