Call for a research grant in project FLUOROCT"

INESC PORTO is accepting applications for a scientific research grant to work in the project "Dose distribution mapping and Monte Carlo simulations in CT-fluoroscopy", in the following work area: Monte Carlo methods in radiation transport, Dosimetry, Medical Physics and Radiation Physics. We are looking for candidates holding a Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, Medical Physics, or in related fields. Candidates must have solid knowledge of Radiation Physics and numerical modeling. Preference will be given to candidates who are proficient in Monte Carlo methods in radiation transport and have knowledge and practical experience in MCNPx and/or GEANT codes.
