CRACS researcher awarder at Xata 2010 Conference

Ricardo Queirós, researcher at the Center for Research in Advanced Computing Systems (CRACS) and PhD student at the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto (FCUP), received the award for best paper submitted by a student at the Conference XATA 2010 – XML, Applications and Associated Technologies. The conference took place on 19 and 20 May at the School of Industrial Studies and Management (ESEIG) of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (IPP), located in Vila do Conde.

The work "Integrating repositories in Moodle" was supervised by José Paulo Leal, also researcher at CRACS, and it was the result of his participation in the European project EduJudge.

This is the 8th edition of the XATA national conference, which constitutes a wide space for the discussion of XML (use, associated technologies, etc.), welcoming experts and users from the academia or industry who work on this theme.
